Women and the magic they weave!
This message is a story of our journey to stand up, find the right words, and share our work and impact on children’s lives. I represent AURA, our volunteers, and the trustees who have supported this work with resources. AURA’s strength lies in its people, who have built it with generosity, hurtfulness, simplicity, flow, and smiles. Founded in 2007, AURA aimed to create a space where children’s fear could be transformed into love, believing it’s the key to a more fulfilling life. We challenged this seed into reality, sowing it in the landscape of learning. Today, it stands tall, providing shade to children and young adults from marginalized communities, and their caregivers. AURA teaches children that they matter, have potential, and can’t be defined by their circumstances. With compassion, understanding, and a chance, they can give their best back. They learn to shine within themselves. At AURA, we believe in the power of love and truth, authentic conversations strengthen relationships, and collaboration is essential. We believe we can work through conflict, trust others, and feel safe in our diverse world. We Have Multi-level Impact. We address the URGENT need for reducing the poverty of relevant and meaningful learning experiences in the Indian education system. AURA designs learning experiences that spark self-discovery and agency. Participants explore themselves, their relationships, and their world. We engage children as active creators of meaningful, contextual learning. Our programs build confidence, calmness, and clear communication.
